FBC to The Mutton Pub at Hazeley Heath (Adult Ride)

This is a Steady Ride aimed at people who are nervous about cycling on the roads or are returning to cycling and want to build up their mileage.

Starting from Finchampstead Baptist Centre , we'll take cycle paths, the Greenway and quiet roads to The Mutton at Hazeley Heath for coffee before returning to our start point.

Free parking is available.

Please ensure your bike is in good working order, with tyres pumped and brakes & gears working.

Please ware a cycling helmet.

This is a no drop ride and we will ride at the pace of the slowest rider.

Wear suitable clothing for the weather conditions - check before leaving.

Bring money for the café stop, water, a bike lock, spare inner tube and bike pump.

Route:
Starting: at the front of the FBC on Gorse Ride, Finchampstead. (What3words reference: rail.dunes.moss).
We’ll follow the Green way to California Country Park to turn Right on to Nine Mile Ride. Follow Nine Mile Ride and turn Left onto Park Lane. At the end, cross the Reading Road on to New Mill Road. We’ll take the foot bridge to cross the Ford and then head Straight through Bramshill Plantation. Cross Bramshill Road onto Plough Lane. Follow Plough Lane to the end and cross the B3011 to Red Hill and our coffee stop.
To return to our starting point we’ll follow the directions in reverse.
