Bike & Hike

Trail riding, road riding & hiking is what we are into ....... If You like getting out on your bike for recreation or want to get fitter then group rides are a great way to do it. Usually our group rides will be mostly off road to avoid traffic but there will be some rides along quiet roads, disused railways and canal tow paths as well. On some occasions our rides may be arranged to meet up with other groups on their best rides. Most rides will be 10-25 miles in length. Every few weeks we will try and find a ride in another area to join up with. Routes will be varied as we don't want to do the same route every week. Some rides will be on main tracks others on muddy rutted trails. Plan is to travel at a medium pace 5-10 mph off road so the routes will be good for healthy people but maybe a little too tough for beginners if very unfit. We are planning to ride throughout the whole year.
