MDCC - Social Rides

Social Rides run on Sundays at 9.00 am from Abbrook Park, Strapp Park, Kingsteignton, TQ12 3PS. Average speed of 10-12 mph. Come and join us for a ride. Rides usually around 30 miles with a coffee stop midway. Children must be accompanied by an adult. For the benefit of all riders, including yourself, please ensure that you are capable of riding at least 10 mph for 20 miles on a hilly route before joining one of the rides Saturday Introductory Rides are on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month and start at 9.00 am from the Visitors Car Park to the rear of Forde House, Brunel Road, Newton Abbot TQ12 4XX. Introductory rides are no more than 25 miles and will go at the pace of the slowest rider - approx. 8-10 mph. Led by experienced ride leaders who will give lots of tips to help you get the most out of the ride. The rides are run by Mid Devon Cycling Club but you don't need to be a member for the first two rides. Just come along and see if you like us.
