I am a British Cycling ride leader and creator of three cycling groups, administrator to another, with combined membership around 150 members. On the Komoot route planning program, I'm recognised for my contributions to cycling as a pioneer in Newcastle (twice), Hexham and Durham, with expert status in Cumbria areas. I specialise in rides with safety uppermost, on quiet cycle paths, tracks / trails and traffic free roads. Newcastle Newbies 2020 is part of Steve's Rides, they do more advanced rides of 30 to 50+ miles. join that group if your a regular cyclist, 30+ miles. For the safety and enjoyment of all riders please check your bike is roadworthy, that you are capable of the route mileage. Bring: hand sanitizer, helmet, 2 tubes, waterproofs (even in good weather) and lights for your bike, also enough food and drink for hydration and energy. All tools you need so you are self-sufficient in repairing your bike, punctures etc. You are free to choose to ride with us, but you do so entirely at your own risk.
