Little Lanes Breeze

[Artwork credit: Caroline Sayer]. [Updated: 20.5.2019] Women's cycling. Led by Breeze Champions. Meeting in Richmond and Bushy Parks, Hampton Court and surrounds. Cycling out on roads (sometimes busy) in search of gorgeous little lanes, traffic-free cycle paths and beautiful scenery; and cafés, which we enjoy a lot. Road bikes, and hybrids (eg cyclocross xc, Bromptons, adventure road/gravel, the like). 25-60miles/ 40-85k. Sometimes a train home. Two types of Little Lanes Breeze ride: a gentler Steady 18kph/11mph, and a nippier Challenging 20kph/12.5mph; these are average speeds over the distance. No one left behind, looking out for each other. Always a café stop or pub stop or something nice like that. Our usual meeting point is the Pheasantry Café in Bushy Park where coffee/loo’s are available from 8:30am; there is a free car park and Teddington station (frequent London Waterloo trains) half a mile away. Occasionally we meet at Roehampton Café in Richmond Park instead. The ride description will clearly state the correct meeting point. We hope that you would like to ride with us.
