The Official Bus Stop Bikers Cycling Group

The Bus Stop Bikers Cycling Group is a Recreational Cycling Group Catering for Beginners to Experienced Cyclists. We hold weekly rides in Lancashire to suit all abilities. Its free to join, you just have to have enthusiasm and we'll do the rest. Camaraderie is a key reason for the groups success. We believe in looking out for each other. All new group members and visitors are fostered into the group by more experienced members. You won't be left behind to find your own way home. The club was formed in 2013 to meet the needs of budding cyclists in the Lancashire area, that couldn't find a group or club that didn't speed off and leave you, or that if you couldn't ride at 25+ miles an hour then you was deemed as "not worthy". Today our 80+ strong membership also includes members from all walks of life, from the fit to the not so fit, from the young to the not as young, and draws riders from as far afield as Southport, Blackpool and Bolton. Regularly turning out numbers in there double figures, where people feel secure and help is always on hand if oneself unfortunately had a puncture. Give us a go, you'll not regret it, as we regularly ride with Skyride, picking up new members all the time. Also, don't worry about what type of bike you have, or the age of it, enthusiasm is the key and the willingness to get a little fitter, whilst meeting new friends. Its a Win Win Situation.
