A spectacular undulating route around the Kent and Lyth valleys, taking in at least 10 beautiful Lakeland villages. In clear weather there are views across to the high Lakeland fells and the sea at Arnside. There's plenty of ascent but also plenty of places to pause and enjoy the view or have a drink. Your ride leader knows the area well and will share Lakeland trivia. There's even the possibility of a quick peek inside an 18th Century watermill.

Almost all the route is on quiet country lanes, the only traffic being on the return into Kendal, before we take to the old Lancaster canal path back to the Leisure Centre.

Free parking, toilets and an end-of ride swim if you want it at Kendal Leisure Centre.
