Breeze Beginners up the Plym Trail

Welcome to Breeze, ladies cycling for all abilities.

If you are new to cycling or looking to re-start gently, this is the right place to be, please keep reading.

Plymbridge Woods is a beautiful place to cycle, the section we'll escort you along, is flat tarmac cycle path, away from cars and traffic. You'll be cycling with other ladies who are of the same ability as yourself. There is no set speed or distance, everything will take place within your own comfort level. You'll be looked after by experienced British Cycling Breeze leaders.

Our only expectation of you is to turn up with a willingness to try, chat and have a bit of fun.

You are welcome to bring your own bike though we also provide bike hire at £3 for the evening. Please turn up at least 15 minutes early if you wish to hire a bike, this gives us time to find and set up the right size bike for you. Helmets will be worn as this is a beginners evening and your safety is our priority, if you do not have a helmet, we will lend you one, free of charge.

Please can you also bring along something to drink, water or juice is recommended, gin and tonic, not so much (unless you want to share). Wear/bring suitable clothing, the return journey will be cooler, gloves are always a good idea. If you are using your own bike, then you should also be carrying a spare inner tube.

As part of British Cycling's Breeze 7th birthday, Plymouth is doing an incentive for participants to 'Bring a friend' from 18th June to 7th July. 3 prizes are up for grabs including Fit Bit, £20 voucher and cycling goodies. Ride Leaders, will be giving out raffle tickets to participants that bring a (new) friend. Winners will be announced w/k 9th July
