Starting point

BD18 3LA

A towpath ride to East Riddlesden Hall with possible diversions along the way. Although normally closed during the winter, they are trialling keeping the cafe open at least until Christmas.

Please allow time for introductions and bike check. A prompt start at 10.00 would be appreciated due to a need to back in Shipley before 12.30.

Always meeting at All Terrain, Saltaire at 10:00am on Mondays, the routes will vary and often dictated by weather conditions, but will always include a cuppa stop, and as I need to back in Shipley around 12.00pm they will not exceed 10 miles They could be towpath rides to Apperley Bridge or Keighley, a woodland trail to Esholt or Gilstead, or a potter along the cleaner when wet, greenway into Bradford. Ideal as confidence boosters and keeping the legs going after the weekend Please dress appropriately. It’s a good idea to bring some water, a snack to keep you going and money for when we stop at the cafe. Wearing a helmet is advisable; if you don’t have one please do not to worry you can still take part.  If you enjoy the bike ride and would like to come again perhaps you could look to buy one then. We really welcome newcomers to our rides; we will always ride at the pace of the slowest rider so no one is left behind. All you need is a roadworthy bike, sensible clothing and a bit of enthusiasm. It helps to have a spare inner tube of the correct size - just in case. My contact number on the day is 07940 975 971 I look forward to you joining us.
