This ride is a Challenge 40+ ride Do you have a road bike? Do you have a basic repair kit and spare inner tube to fix any punctures or carry out minor repairs if needed? Are you comfortable cycling 30 miles+ at an average speed of 13-15mph? If the answer to ALL of these is YES, then this ride should be perfect for you! You don’t have to be the next Bradley Wiggins, but you’ll need to know your way around a bike and be fairly fit to take part in our Challenging rides. If you’re comfortable riding with other people and fancy a fresh challenge, these rides are perfect for you. They start at around twenty miles long, and are paced at between 11 and 12 miles an hour.

Explore the beautiful Cheshire Plain on the outskirts of Manchester on this pleasant, 30 mile countryside route.  This ride is mainly flat so ideal for road bikes. Stately homes, places of scientific interest and the famous Jodrell Bank is the order of the day.
