Evening ride along the River Mersey

This is a gentle flat ride along the coast from Hamilton Square station to New Brighton. The ride will take us from the station along the cycle path passing the Belfast Ferry and onto Seacombe Ferry. We’ll carry on along the cycle path all the way to New Brighton. We can stop off at the Egremont ferry pub on the way back for a drink with great views across to Liverpool and the Mersey so bring your cameras. The ride will finish back at Hamilton Square station. If you are coming by car there are car spaces on the road with no charge after 6pm. If you are coming by train there are regular train services from across the Wirral and Liverpool every 15 mins, we shall be returning to the station after the ride. Arriva trains have cycle accommodation in the carriages if you need to travel with your bike. Women and children (over age of 14) are welcome on this ride  Newcomers to Breeze rides are very welcome, don't worry if you don't know anyone, we're a friendly bunch.  Dress appropriately for the weather: in cool weather it's good to wear lots of thin layers, so you can add/remove them as needed; a rain jacket is a good idea too If you recently came to the "Off the Rock" cycle day and heard all about BREEZE this could be your ideal opportunity to get your bike out of the shed and come along.
