Ride to a Summer Festival

A gentle ride from Chorlton Water Park, along the Mersey, around Sale Water Park and finishing at Jackson's Boat for the Bicycle Village 2013.  The Bicycle Village 2013 has a number of activities throughout the day for families and will include a bicycle jumble and festival featuring local bands. The ride will end at the bicycle village so you can enjoy the afternoon entertainment. Please ensure that your bike is roadworthy before you come on the ride. This ride is fairly flat and well surfaced and so is suitable for most bikes. Bikes with thin tyres will need to watch for and avoid occasional deep puddles. Please dress appropriately for the weather and bring a waterproof coat with you. A number of thin layers are often better as you take them off if you get too hot. Wearing a helmet is advisable; if you don’t have one please do not to worry you can still take part.  If you enjoy the bike ride and would like to come again perhaps you could look to buy one then. Please note all children under the age of 16 MUST wear a helmet. As with all Breeze Network rides, we will cycle at the speed of the slowest cyclist. You will not be left behind so there is no need to worry! Please arrive 10-15 minutes early so we have time for bike checks and introductions. We will set off promptly at the start time. Parking is available at the start at Chorlton Water Park.
