Chesterfield - Trans Pennine Trail to Killamarsh

This ride will follow the Trans Pennine Trail from Tapton Lock to Killamarsh and back again. Starting from Tapton Lock, we will ride along the canal to Staveley. We will then continue along the trail as far as Kilamarsh before turning around and returning to Tapton Lock the way we came. If required, we will stop at Nonna's Cafe at Hollingwood Hub for refreshments. This ride will be repeated and hopefully build up to riding to Rother Valley and back by the end of the summer. Wearing a helmet is advisable; if you don’t have one please do not to worry you can still take part.  If you enjoy the bike ride and would like to come again perhaps you could look to buy one then. We really welcome newcomers to our rides. It’s a good idea to bring water, a snack and some money. Also a puncture repair kit if you have one (you don't need to know how to use it!)
