WHITBARROW WANDER

Join Judith and Annie for a leisurely and sociable  8.5 mile evening ride from Greystoke.  This ride will be suitable for all abilities and follows tarmac country lanes and B roads and will be suitable for any bike type.  Setting off from Greystoke Car Park we will ride towards the A66 and along the cycle path to Penruddock, towards Whitbarrow and back, with a lovely long downhill to end!  You will have stunning views of Blencathra and the valley along the way. We will always ride at the pace of the slowest rider so that no one is left behind. Our aim is for everyone to enjoy the ride and the drink at the end in the Boot and Shoe! Remember to wear clothes that are comfortable to cycle in.  We always recommend that you wear a cycle helmet.  It is a good idea to bring a waterproof jacket and a bottle of water.
