27 mile Leisure Ride

A shorter route of 27 miles this week . Enough to feel like you have earned your refreshments, but with a reduced time exposed to the cold/damp conditions this time of year.

Weather: Cloudy, Chance of a shower midday, but we should be back by then. Temp: 4-7 deg, with the wind chill feeling like 0-2 deg. Wind: Southwest 14-16, gusting 26-29mph.

Trying to repair punctures in these conditions can be numbing, so do carry a spare innertube to make life as easy as possible, if the worst happens.
Please wrap up warm and wear double thick sock and gloves. A head cover under your helmet is advised.
