First Breeze West Cumbria Night ride

Join us for a leisurely 16 mile cycle ride from Egremont to Ennerdale and back via Wathbrow Bridge, we will meet at 17.45 to start at 18.00 The ride starts from Egremont at Chapel Street Car Park at 18.00 (This is the large car park behind Herons and the conservative club and is opposite the fire station) The car park is pay and display parking (£1.40 for 4 hours). From Egremont we will work our way towards Ennerdale along the road from East Road Garage to Wathbrow Bridge under Dent fell, when we reach Ennerdale Village we will return via Kirkland to Rowrah returning to Egremont along the cycle path C2C route. Please note front and rear lights and high visability clothing are mandatory to participate in this ride. This ride is perfect for all abilities; the route is on good tarmac surfaces and is suitable for all bicycle types. We will always ride at the pace of the slowest rider so no one is left behind. Our priorities are fun rides to meet new riders, we always welcome newcomers to our rides. Remember to layer with clothes you are comfortable cycling in, a water proof jacket is advisable; bring a bottle of water and we always recommend a well fitting helmet and a spare inner tube to fit your own bike.
