Evening Worth Way Wanderer

The Worth Way is a 7-mile (11 km) footpath and bridleway linking the West Sussex towns of Crawley and East Grinstead via the village of Crawley Down. It mostly follows the track of a disused railway and the path is an important wildlife corridor. It is part of the national cycle network and apart from the short ride from Three Bridges station to the start at Worth it will be a mostly traffic free route. We will follow the route to East Grinstead to Costa for coffee and cake. AS THIS IS A NIGHTRIDE PLEASE BE AWARE THAT WE MAY HAVE TO RIDE AT A SLIGHTLY SLOWER PACE AS IT IS PITCH BLACK ALONG THE ROUTE.LIGHTS AND HIGH VIZ CLOTHING ARE ESSENTIAL. It's a good idea to bring some water and you may also want to bring a snack if you think your energy levels may need topping up along the way and some money if you'd like something at the coffee stop. Please wear a helmet and ensure your bike is in good working order-tyres pumped, brakes working etc and carrying a spare inner tube and puncture repair kit is always advisable.
