Evening ride leg spinner!

We'll meet in the London Road carpark outside of the Library. Please bear in mind this is a pay and display carpark. (£1 after 6pm). We'll ride from London Road car park and turn right on to London Road then left heading in to Hawton village via Albert Street and Hawton Road. Once in Hawton Village we will turn right and head towards Thorpe and ride through Thorpe and right, out on to the old A46. We will head towards Farndon but turn right just before Farndon to ride back through Hawton and back in to Newark via Hawton Road and Albert Street. Once we get back on to London Road we will continue up to the old hospital and turn left at the traffic lights and continue to the mini roundabout where we then turn right, ride along Sleaford Road and head up Beacon Hill. Once we get to the top (and get our breath back) we will turn right, past the school and go down the back of Coddington/Balderton and make a right turn back in to Newark via Barnby Road. At the end of Barnby Road we will turn left, then right and we are back at London Road carpark :) This ride is perfect for those who are already confident out on the road at night AND for those that want to gain confidence and experience on a night ride. This is a steady ride. We will always ride at the pace of the slowest rider so no one is left behind. We really welcome newcomers to our rides.  It's a good idea to bring some water and you may also want to bring a snack if you think your energy levels may need topping up along the way. Wearing a helmet is compulsory on this ride as well as a front and back light. You wont be able to ride without these. Please also wear any hi-viz clothing you may have. Some parts of this ride have no light so we need to be as visible as possible.
