Not been on your bike for a while?
This ride is ideal for beginners and those that haven’t been on their bike for a while. Suitable for hybrids/mountain bikes.
The ride to The Tudor Barn is a round trip of about 8 miles using quiet roads, cycle paths & a track through a park. There are some gentle hills on the way back but nothing too bad. We’ll take the pace of the slowest rider so no one is left behind.
A great opportunity to meet new friends, have a laugh and build our confidence plus we’ll get to see stunning views of the city.
Newcomers to Breeze rides are very welcome, don't worry if you don't know anyone, we're a friendly bunch. Dress appropriately for the weather: in cool weather it's good to wear lots of thin layers, so you can add/remove them as needed; a rain jacket is a good idea too! If you haven't been out on your bike for a while check it over or let a bike shop give it a winter service & pick up a spare inner tube while you are there. We normally stop where we can see our bikes but a bring a lock if you have one. Bring a drink of water, snack and some money for refreshments.
Wearing a helmet is advisable; if you don’t have one please do not to worry you can still take part. If you enjoy the bike ride and would like to come again perhaps you could look to buy one.
Coming far? The nearest train station is Bexleyheath which is approximately 7 minutes ride away. For more information please see the National Rail Enquires website.
Don’t forget…. Breeze are on a mission to spread the word about their rides, and need your help. If you introduce one friend who goes on to take part in a Breeze ride, you’ll receive a Breeze water bottle, introduce a second friend, you’ll be the proud owner of one of their swish Breeze Buffs, and introduce a third friend and Breeze will send you £15 of Love2Shop vouchers.
