North Tyneside Circular

We’ll ride eastwards along cycle paths and quiet back roads via West Allotment and Murton to the coast via Monkseaton. We’ll follow the coast to Tynemouth where we'll stop for a hot drink and slice of cake so please bring some money. We’ll return along quiet backstreets and Sustrans route no.10 and before returning through the Rising Sun Country Park back to Asda car park. This gentle ride is perfect forthose wanting to keep up a steady pace It's a good idea to bring some water and you may also want to bring a snack if you think your energy levels may need topping up.  Dress appropriately for the weather: in cold weather it's good to wear lots of thin layers, so you can add/remove them as needed; a pair of warm gloves and warm socks may also be useful.   Wearing a helmet is advisable; if you don’t have one please do not to worry you can still take part.
