Roundhay Park

Starting at the scenic Roundhay Park by Waterloo Lake this ride takes us along some scenic country roads through small villages in the north of Leeds.  We will navigate around the perimeter of the beautiful Harewood Estate which includes some small climbs towards Eccup reservoir.  There is plenty of time for stops to take in the amazing scenery and views before making our way back through Alwoodley and into Roundhay Park for a well earned coffee and cake.  At just less that 24 miles you will be surprised just how much you can see of Leeds by bike!  This ride is perfect for anybody who wants to put a few miles in and see just how amazing biking in Leeds is. You don’t have to be the next Bradley Wiggins, but you’ll need to know your way around a bike and be fairly fit to take part in our Challenging rides. If you’re comfortable riding with other people and fancy a fresh challenge, these rides are perfect for you. They start at around twenty miles long, and are paced at between 11 and 12 miles an hour.
