Venture into Viridor Wood

This ride starts at the car park at Pennington Hall from where we will pick up the canal towpath towards Wigan and then take a cycle trail to Three Sisters Recreation Area and Viridor Wood. The paths are fairly flat and the route is virtually traffic free and suitable for most bikes apart from those with stabilisers or trailers On the return journey we will deviate slightly from the outward route onto Edge Green Lane and although we may encounter some traffic this is a fairly quiet road up to the Harrow Inn where we can buy something to eat or drink, so please bring some money along. Wearing a helmet is advisable If you have a spare inner tube please bring this along, although don't worry if you haven't got one.
