About the route
A lovely ride for active families & leisure cyclists who want to explore traffic-free trails following the River Brathay to Skelwith. Here there is a cafe and picnic site. Then we retrace to Elterwater, climb towards Elterwater Quarry before dropping down to Chapel Stile. Suitable for children aged 8+ with adult or younger if on a tag-along, trailer or approved seat
