Durham to Langley Park Circular

From Sniperley we will travel south along the cycle path next to the A167 At Toll House Road we will travel down the road for a short distance before turning L at Baxter's Wood We will travel through the farmyard turning R onto the Lanchester Valley Railway Walk. At Langley Park we will return to Sniperley via the cycle path next to the A691 The ride is 8 miles at approx. 8mph. There are some hills and an average assent of 500ft. Please bring a bike in working order and a spare inner tube. Please ensure that your brakes are working and you are able to carry out an emergency stop if required! For information - Durham City Velo have had to cancel the coaching sessions tomorrow which was due to follow the ride and which was advertised in the original ride. There will be no refrehsments available for sale by the Club as advertised unfortunately. The Breeze ride will still run.
