A Bolt to Guardhouses

This is approximately a 9 mile ride along quiet roads and dedicated cycleways starting from Mungrisdale.  We will follow the Coast to Coast route towards Keswick.  Just after Scales we will cross the A66 and then ride on quiet roads to Guardhouses before heading back to Mungrisdale on the Coast to Coast route.
This route is suitable for all riders and bike types as it is all on well surfaced roads and cycle paths.
We will always ride at the pace of the slowest rider so no one is left behind. The aim of the ride is to have a fun sociable ride in the company of other women, build up confidence in our riding in a supportive group environment, as well ask questions about bikes and riding, and make links with others. All welcome and we will not leave anyone behind
Remember to wear clothes that are comfortable to cycle in.  It is a good idea to bring a waterproof jacket and a bottle of water.  We always recommend that you wear a cycle helmet.
