Starting from - The starting point is a sliproad just off the A570 Rainford Bypass , close to a new Indian Restaurant called Holdi ( formerly Elephant ), ive dropped a pin on google maps where we start from and it comes up as WA117TA , close to 428 Ormskirk Road , Rainford , St Helens . WA11 7TA, WA11 7TA

We head out towards Simonswood , and then towards Aughton before looping around the back of Ormskirk , and then into Burscough for lunch ,we carry on through Burscough Bridge and towards Lathom before heading back through Old Skem.

A nice and easy ride to ease us into the Christmas week , 23 miles in total starting from our usual starting point in Rainford.and all on road.

mainly back roads , a couple of more busy roads .

helmet , bike , bike lock , spare tubes and a pump or Co2 cannisters , some money for lunch , and suitable clothing for the conditions.
