This relaxed social ride takes us out into the southern Cotswolds mostly on cycle paths and country lanes. We start from Sandwi Cafe which is by the Engine Shed at Temple Meads. This is a new cycling friendly cafe - so why not arrive early for a coffee and a bite to eat before the ride? We then set off along the Bristol-Bath Rail Path until we head north towards Emersons Green and then Hinton and into the Cotswolds. There are a couple of uphill sections around here but the group will wait at the top for everyone to regroup. From there we ride onto Tormarton, Acton Turville and begin the loop back via Old Sodbury, Chipping Sodbury and Westerleigh. Finally we rejoin the Bristol-Bath Rail Path which takes us back to Temple Meads. Everyone is welcome and no-one will be left behind. The route is, however, 36 miles with a couple of climbs and it is anticipated that the average speed will be around 12 mph - but don't let that put you off! The ride will adapt to the riders in the group.
