A little jaunt along the TPT going East (Graceful Green)

We will use the new shared path into town from the race course and cross north bridge and join the greenway behind Pets at Home to ride north to join the TPT then follow the TPT through Bentley, Tilts, Thorpe in Balm and Braithwaite where we will stop by the canal for refreshments. We will then return via Kirk Bramwith to Barnby Dunn. We will then use the canal path to Kirk Sandall and short distance on housing estate roads to pick up a path through Edenthorpe to Armthorpe. Through Shaw wood to Armthorpe then back to Lakeside through Sandall Beat Wood.

A mainly flat route using shared paths through town to join the TPT which is on trails and quiet roads through villages north-east of Doncaster returning along a canal path, through woods and shared paths.

More than half of the route is traffic free and the roads through the villages north-east of Doncaster are very quiet.

There is not an obvious cafe stop but a car park by the canal which is a nice place to stop so bring a drink with you and I will provide refreshment.

Helmets are advisable and please bring an inner tube and tools to change in case of punctures.

We never leave anyone behind
