This route is a lovely scenic route along the canal towpath taking in farmland views and the picturesque winter hill and the lovely wildlife that can be often seen along this stretch.
This route is along cycle paths and canal towpaths, it is mostly suited to mountain bikes or hybrid bikes with off road tyres, this ride is not suitable for road bikes due to the surface of the towpaths.
We will be having a mid ride stop at Fredericks ice cream parlour.
Please check your bike is In good working order and bring along a spare innertube just in case of punctures, it is also advisable to dress according to the weather and helmets are advisable but not compulsory.
