Starting from - The ride will start and finish at Town Green Railway Station which is on the Merseyrail Northern Line between Liverpool and Ormskirk. If you are coming from the Wirral, change trains at Moorfields. L39 6RH

This is a lovely ride through the historical lanes around Ormskirk, passing churches and monuments, and then out towards the Leeds Liverpool Canal at Burscough. We will stop canal side for lunch at the Scarisbrick Marina.
Refreshed, we will then tackle some more hilly lanes around Clieves Hill, as we make our way back towards the Ormskirk area.
The ride is not too long but there are some challenging parts after lunch. A road, hybrid or mountain bike is recommended. Please also bring water and a snack, and some wet weather kit if necessary.
