About the route
Starting point
Stonebridge Lock is on the River Lee North of Tottenham hale /Ferry Road. The car park is accessed from Watermead Way. N17 OXD.
Start at Stonebride lock Café ride to Queen Elizabeth Park to meet up with Breeze Newham & the Flying the Colours in Suffragette City Ride. Cycling around the City of London & Westminster visiting a few places that where of significance in the time of the Suffragettes. This ride may break off to seek refreshments in the Gardens beside the Imperial War Museum. Mostly roads a small bit of Towpath that can be avoided if the path is very muddy. A road route back for the Stonebridge Lock return. Suitable for Hybrids & Road bikes. Approx 30 miles. Please bring a drink snack spare inner tube. Open to Men & Women & any over spill from Breeze Walthamstow & Newham.
