This ride is suitable for more experienced riders who have a reasonable level of bike fitness and are confident using their gears. We will make our way up to an exposed common and here it may feel cooler than at the lower levels.
We use mainly quiet, country lanes, with a few challenging climbs and steep downhills. Some of the lanes can be pot holed, gravely and muddy in places but with care we always find a good route around these sections.
Plenty of opportunity to stop en-route to catch your breath, have a drink and enjoy the views. We will stop for well-earned refreshments at the end of the ride at The Baker’s Table, Talgarth. http://talgarthmill.com/cafe-bakery.html
Please bring a well-maintained bicycle, wear a helmet, gloves and appropriate clothing for the weather. Remember to carry a drink, a spare tube, puncture repair kit, lock, lights and pump if you have them and bring some money for refreshments.
We laugh, we cycle and never leave anyone behind!
