Starting point

Devon
PL7 2ZJ

This ride will take us to South Brent via Ivybridge on NCN route 2.
Majority of the ride will be on country lanes with some traffic but you must be confided riding on roads as we go up through Ivybridge main street.
The ride will start from Langage Business Park Plympton on Western Wood Way, PL7-5BG.
As you come into Western Way there are no yellow lines on the left side of the road you can park along there. I have attached a photo in the file tab of this ride reference for meeting location
This route is undulating in places with a steady climb to South Brent. Remember what goes up must come down so get ready to be Breezy going down those hills.
Please note big long beam lights are a must on this ride as the majority of the ride is on dark country lanes (not scary at all as we keep each other entertained.....honestly☺☺)

We will stop for refreshments at South Brent so bring some spending money with you, if you feeling peckish we recommend you try the chips, they are the best chips ever.
Advisable; to spray before the ride or to bring with you a small insect repellent spray as we sit in the pub bear garden and the midges will have a feast.
If you think you are up for a laugh and an evening full of fun while you cycle why not try this route and see for yourself how exhilarating it is.
*please make sure you bring with you
*fully checked and working bike (hybrid, road, e-bike are welcome)
*spare inner tube pump and tools to remove a tyre
* A helmet is a must on this ride
* Appropriate clothing for the weather
*working lights fully charged (the light needs to be powerful to see in the dark)
* And if you have any room left, a joke or two to spice things up.
For safety reasons all participants will be expected to wear a helmet. We are looking forward in seeing you on this exiting ride
We are a friendly bunch and never leave anyone behind so come and join us, looking forward to see you on the ride. (Which is going to be sunny and fabulous....we hope).
