A34 blue segregated route to Birmingham city centre and Let’s Ride activation hub

The route will take us along the blue segregated cycle route from a starting point at Heathfield Rd and drop us off in the city centre by Birmingham Children’s Hospital, just over the road from the start of Let’s Ride Birmingham

The route is almost entirely segregated from motorised traffic, with a couple of sections of shared footway, and a few side roads to cross where cyclists have priority. There are cycle signals at major junctions on the route.

Due to the short length of the ride, there are no planned stops, however as we are riding as a group, we will make sure we don’t leave anyone behind.

There will be both food and drink stalls at Let’s Ride Birmingham, so bring along some money if you want to buy snacks or a drink before riding round the Let’s Ride closed road circuit!
