Come and Join us on our Active Newcastle - Saturday Social Ride up to Derwent Valley. These rides are at a pace of around 8-10mph but dependent on the ability of the group this can be increased.

We will be heading along to the Quayside over the Millennium Bridge and along the National Cycle Route 14 up to Derwent Valley. This ride is a classed as a steady ride due to the distance and some of the hills on this ride so we do say that this ride is not for beginners and we ask that you are comfortable on bike.

Due to changes in our program from October 2017 we will not be offering free bike hire on our social rides for the foreseeable future. If you would like to hire a bike from The Cycle Hub there will now be a small charge of £5 for a bike, to book your bike please call The Cycle Hub on 0191 276 7250 to book your bike, and give 24 hours notice. Any questions regarding the ride please contact [email protected]

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: If you can not make the ride please cancel your place as these rides are very popular and we want to give as many people the opportunity to go on these rides.
