(0) ReviewsThis route leaves Alexandra Park heading up the Fallowfield Loop to the Ashton Canal, we then follow the canal to Portland Basin. On reaching Portland Basin we turn onto the Peak Forest Canal we follow the canal for a short way then cross the canal and head to the Globe Cafe for a well earned refreshment break. The route back is a reverse but its Downhill.
This route is on quiet roads but mainly traffic free on well surfaced tracks.
We will be having a refreshment break so a lock and money are advised.
