Please only book on this ride if you can definitely come.
This is a chance to share what we love most about Breeze rides.... friendship, cycling and fun. The plan is to ride on mostly country lanes before ending up at Hildreth Garden Centre near Prestwood where we will be joined by other local Breeze groups to enjoy coffee, cake and chat before heading home.
It's Christmas so dress yourself and/or your bike up if you wish. Add plenty of tinsel, bling and sparkle, the more the merrier!
In addition, we will call in on Amersham Action Group’s Christmas Festival which is taking place on Saturday 4 December, at Sycamore Road, from 10am-5pm. The event promises a great day of fun, festivities and, of course, Christmas shopping.
This year some very special Street Entertainers will be joining in, there will be children’s fair rides, as well as Santa’s Grotto which will be open from 12, on the Forecourt of St Michaels Church. Santa is looking forward to hearing what all the children want for Christmas, as well as giving them presents. And of course, there is the Naughty Elves Trail. All will be revealed on the day.
For the adults there will be a Street Market starting at 10am as well as an Indoor Market in St Michaels Church. They will offer a wide range of shopping and Christmas gift ideas.
At 12 the musical entertainment will start. There will be something for everyone – from a rock band, jazz, and classical groups from Dr Challoners Grammar School, to the Amersham A Cappello Singers. The wonderful Amersham Town Band will also be playing seasonal music to really get us in the Christmas spirit.
