This ride is suitable for all abilities. Apart from a short section of rough ground, the ride is on good Tarmac roads and suitable for all bikes.
The ride leaves the parking area behind the Cross Keys Pub and uses the underpass to get to Brougham Castle. From there we ride to Melkinthorpe ,Lowther Castle and return through Lowther caravan park. We will stop at Lowther castle for coffee and cake.
We will always ride at a pace to suit everyone and no one will be left behind.The aim is to have a fun sociable ride,.
Remember to wear comfortable clothes that are suitable for the days weather and it is advisable to wear a helmet.
It is a good idea to bring a spare inner tube and a drink and snack.
We will stop for refreshment so please bring some money if you wish to do this.
