Applefest Family & Beginner Friendly Ride with Watford Cycle Hub

It’s our joy to be part of Applefest again this year - on The Green, at School Mead, Abbots Langley, WD5 0LA, 11am-4pm. :) We’re offering at 10:15am, a FREE, 2 mile, beginner and family friendly ride. It’s virtually traffic-free & flat & VERY EASY! We will ride from Applefest to the Green Flag Awarded Leavesden Country Park and back, with the opportunity for the children to play in the playground, and the grown ups to admire the landscaping of the well cared for country park! :)

We will then head back to ride in as Applefest gets into full swing: with lovely refreshment stalls and local produce; local expertise on foraging and tree planting - if you want to take a fruit tree at home; live music; and for the children a bouncy castle, Punch & Judy, story-telling & of course our ever popular cycling obstacle course to take on! :) While your children are playing, we are happy to offer you any help and advice on cycling routes, cycling training and coaching, our Go Ride Club, and our FREE guided rides, both Ride Social & Breeze, with our qualified British Cycling Ride Leaders. :)

Talking of which, Georgia & Tom, will be taking you on the family & beginner ride today, at the pace of the slowest, or littlest one. :) We’re both looking forward to riding with you & enjoying Applefest. :) It’s a lovely local event and Watford Cycle Hub are proud to be a part of it!
