As the route title suggests, this is an easygoing 10 mile ride through the beautiful North Warwickshire countryside to the north-west of Atherstone. Cycling mainly on flat, quiet roads this is an ideal route for those new to cycling, or those infrequent riders who would like to get out on their bike more often.
From the start point we head out of Atherstone on the Ratcliffe Road past Atherstone Sports Club. Shortly after, we turn onto Mythe Lane to the village of Witherley where we take a loop around the memorial playing field.
Joining Atterton Lane, our route crosses the A444 and on to Upton, before crossing back over the A444 once more, making our way back to Atherstone on Sibson Road via Ratcliffe Culey.
We'll aim to be out on the bike for around an hour or so, but will take the opportunity to stop and take in the views or rest our legs if necessary - don't forget to bring a bottle of water and perhaps an energy bar!
We look forward to seeing you - bring sunshine!
