Starting point

Gwynedd
LL40 1WY

The route follows the Mawddach Estuary from Dolgellau into Barmouth, plenty to see along the way and stops can be taken at anytime for photos or just to admire the views and abundance of wildlife together with the changing tide and trees that are starting to change to their rich autumn shades.
No special clothing is required, dress to be comfortable on your bike and to suit the current weather conditions, it can be cool alongside the estuary so an extra layer advisable.
A helmet is recommended.
We are planning to get fish and chips in Barmouth but you can bring your own picnic or purchase other foods if you prefer, Barmouth has plenty of eating places.
We will have a couple of hours in Barmouth so you can explore, have a paddle or just relax enjoying the harbour scenes.
We will then cycle back to our starting point and can get teas/coffees or soft drinks at the George III before traveling back home.
Please make sure your bike is well maintained and bring a spare tube, pump, money for car parking which is £4.50 at the long stay car park in Dolgellau and 20p for toilet visit!
