Avon Lollipop

This is a 13 mile ride that begins in Monkton Park. We will head out towards the golf course along the river on a combination of cycle path and road. We then pop out onto the London Road opposite the cemetery before turning left onto Stanley Lane where we join quiet country lanes. We pass through Tytherton Lucas, Avon and East Tytherton and then retrace our way back to Monkton Park.

A sociable bimble that begins a long the scenic River Avon and continues into the Wiltshire countryside

The ride is a combination of cycle track and country lanes with only a very short section on the London Road.

At the end of the ride we will stop for a cuppa and a snack at the Tenth Hole coffee shop in Monkton Park :-)

Please bring suitable clothing for the weather, helmet, spare inner tube, tools to change a puncture and a drink. Bring some money for the cafe if you would like refreshments

The pace will be set based on the riders present, with no pressure to ride quickly. New and nervous cyclists are very welcome!
