Although this is an open ride it is also the final training ride for the Barmby Moor Pink Ladies doing the Hadrians Cycle Way Coast to Coast in two weeks. However if you can ride at about 13mph and can cope with big hills you are welcome to join us.
From Barmby Moor we will head out along The Mile towards Millington but taking the Fridaythorpe Road. Along here we take a left to the A166 crossing over at the top of Garrowby Hill and on towards Thixendale. A steep downhill brings us to the valley bottom where we then take the right fork and a steep climb to Fridaythorpe and on to Seaways Bikers Café for a 'brunch'. break. We then trace our steps into the village and take a different route back along Church Street, back down into Thixendale along the valley before another hard climb back up and cross back over the A166 at Walkers grain store and on to Huggate and Millington. Here we can have another coffee stop before returning via KP and Pocklington.

This is a 33 mile hard hilly training ride for any Pink Ladies training for Hadrians Cycle Way and anyone who loves a hard hill challenge
