This is a Basic Skills session for women who can pedal and balance, but would like to improve cycling skills before going out on the roads.

We'll begin in the park and go out on a couple of quiet streets, depending on progress.

This is a non-stop early morning ride without a cafe stop, but if you have time we can go for a coffee at Daisy's afterwards.

You need to bring your own working bike. Please check it out beforehand and get it fixed if necessary. Tyres should be pumped up, brakes must work and wheels spin freely. No special gear, just a bike lock if you want to go for coffee; and water. Make sure your trousers are not baggy, or use an elastic band or similar to secure them so that they don't get caught in the bike. Clip back any long flowing garments. Check the weather forecast and dress accordingly, including gloves.

We especially welcome newbies!
