HA5 4QN

This is an easy ride for women who can pedal and balance a bike, but may be feeling a bit nervous and are looking to build road confidence. We will start off in Shaftesbury Park practising skills and also use the quiet residential roads nearby.

Do not come if you have any covid symptoms.

Before you come please check your tyres, brakes and chain to ensure everything is in full working order. We cannot fix your bike on the spot. Make sure the seat is the right height. Here is a video to remind you of areas to check: https://www.sustrans.org.uk/our-blog/get-active/2019/everyday-walking-and-cycling/the-m-check-for-your-bike-in-11-steps

No special gear is needed but please remember to layer up with warm clothing, wear tight fitting trousers near the ankle (no loose clothing), wear gloves and a hat if required under your helmet (adjusting it appropriately).
