Beginners Ride

Starting from - We will meet at B and M car park, there is plenty of room but I suggest if you arrive in a car park to the left where you can see the Garden section. There are no toilets but you could always nip across the road to Tesco. We plan to leave the car park at 11am so please arrive in time to get yourself ready. I will be there waiting from 10.50am and can help unload bikes from cars if needed. I recommend wearing a helmet but it is not compulsory, I do have a spare one if anyone wants to borrow one. This is a flat cycle path ride for beginners. You need to be able to ride a bike but it doesn't matter if you haven't been on a bike in a long time. The plan is to start in the car park and cycle along the cycle path towards Valley, we do not have to go the full way, we can turn around at any point. We will see how it goes and how everyone is feeling. The furthest we will go is to the old Summit to Sea Car park, turn around and head back the same way. This will be just under 5 miles. The idea is to enjoy, have a chat and get to know one another, not to endure and feel shattered and deflated when we finish.
