Starting point

South Yorkshire
DN4 5QB

We will use the shared paths to go round Lakeside and over the railway bridge to B&Q then along the cycle path to join up with the lane that comes down from Tickhill road and then over the motorway on the farm bridge to Amazon Lakes where we will have a brief stop. Annabel’s take away is operating a Winter Timetable and should be open but you may wish to bring your own refreshments. We will then use the new cycle path near to the Iport to join up with the Rossington Greenway where it goes under the Great Yorkshire Way to the Red Path through Bessacarr and back to Lakeside. There are a few bridges on the way but mostly flat route and traffic free. If the group would like to extend the route we could go to the “Y” and back through the Hayfield Fishing Lakes.
Please bring tools and a spare inner tube in case of punctures. Helmets are recommended and you may wish to bring some hand gel.
As we are only able to have small groups at present if you are unable to attend please cancel your place or message me in the Conversation as soon as possible.
