Leaving the hall we turn left then right onto Church Street, across the roundabout to South Parade, then straight across the next roundabout onto Shay Skye, left onto Gaukroger Lane, then left onto Shaw Lane then left onto Phoebe Lane and down the Hebble trail to the Salterhebble junction joining the Calder and Hebble Navigation to Sowerby Bridge and join The Rochdale Canal, there is a small road section to switch between to two

We will then head along the towpath to Luddenfoot where we come off the towpath for a short road section to pick up the trail that runs along the railway line, at Mytholmroyd station we will again join the road for a mix of road and trail to Hebden Bridge
