Our usual easy paced 2 hour Healthy ride using quiet roads and paths where possible, following the footsteps of Bob Hope the actor and comedian who was born in Eltham in 1903 , we set from Danson park navigating the quiet back streets of Welling and Blackfen to Avery Hill park and across Belxey road and the streets of Eltham to the location of the Bob Hope Theatre, named after him as he saved it from closure in the 1980’s. We then cross Eltham High street and head towards Eltham Station to find Hopes Childhood house, winding our way back to Danson for midday 11.5 miles Harry leading no one is left behind – All welcome.

Please ensure your bike is in roadworthy condition and that the tyres are fully inflated and ideally you have at least one spare inner-tube and that your seat is at the correct height and that you are dressed for the weather for this time of year.
