This month’s easy paced Bexley Healthy +ride is to Ladywell fields in Lewisham, the route is a little more challenging than usual however this is only because there are 2 short hills (with the option to walk up them) as always we wait for all riders. We will set off from St Johns gate taking the quiet back streets towards Hook lane and Sutherland ave and past Falconwood station and through Eltham park south to Kidbrooke village, using the cycle paths and quite roads to reach Lee, past Manor House gardens and through Manor park crossing the river Quaggy towards Lewisham and the A21, where we will use the cycle path to cross the River Ravensbourne to Ladywell and onto Ladywell Fields, which is a nice green space with the river Ravensbourne running through it, we do a loop here and stop for a short refreshment break at a café. Then we are back on our bikes heading towards Glass Mill leisure centre using route 21 to Elverston Road DLR, crossing here to pick up Morden Hill towards Blackheath and the A2 onto Rochester Way, we will be using the nice cycle path and the LCN up to Eltham park North onto Falconwood, navigating the quiet back streets of Welling aiming to reach Danson, park at 1pm.

We will wait for all riders no one is left behind. Harry leading. 18.5 miles "All Welcome"
Please ensure your bike is in roadworthy condition and that the tyres are fully inflated and ideally you have at least one spare innertube, and that you are dressed for the weather for this time of year.

This ride is part of a series of Healthy rides by Bexley Cyclists an LCC local group. https://lcc.org.uk//
